Players once again take up the crowbar as scientist Gordon Freeman, who returns to an Earth ravaged by alien occupation, its resources stripped and its population in decline. Forced to confront the consequences of the disaster he unleashed at Black Mesa, Freeman must now fight to save the world—while the lives of those he cares about hang in the balance.
